Back and sides are Malaysian Blackwood, and the soundboard is “bearclaw” German Spruce. The fretboard is Ebony with a 650 mm scale length and has a constant width from nut to saddle. The bridge and headplate are Snakewood, and the headplate has inlays of my "Maui Girl"™ trademark and "JAD" logo. The neck and peghead are Spanish Cedar -- not as thin as a hardwood neck, but thin and flat by classical-guitar standards -- and it is fitted with Blake Robinson Northumbria Sterling Silver tuning machines with Snakewood buttons. The peghead uses my proprietary Rear String Slot design; the soundboard uses my proprietary Projection Tuned™ BRACELESS “double soundboard” design licensed from RainSong; and the heel has my signature Abalone heelcap. The inside of the soundboard is signed, dated and numbered (#10) by me.
